Kansas Pop Rocks usually come in pairs, a smoother stone which has Yin or female energy and is referred to as the female, and a rougher stone that has Yang or masculine energy and is referred to as the male.
Kansas Pop Rocks are a variety of pyrite with a radial crystal structure that usually form on a nucleus such as a fossil vertabrae, tooth or clamshell. They have also been patented under the name “Boji Stones”, though they come from the same place , at the base of a natural pyramid mount in the center of the continental USA.
We like to use them for balancing energy and polarities. You can hold the “male” stone in your dominant hand and the “female” in your non-dominant hand , relax and close your eyes and see is you feel a pulsing in your hands, sometimes you can feel the energy course up through one hand and arm and out through the other, creating a circuit of sorts.

The are associated with grounding and balancing the chakras.

Kansas Pop Rocks

Kansas Pop Rocks are usually sold in pairs. The smoother stone is considered the female and the rougher stone the male, representing the female and male energies. They can be used to balance all of the chakras, and are also excellent for grounding your energy. They are from the Niobrara Formation also called the Niobrara Chalk that is a geologic formation that was laid down approximately 84 million years ago.

As collectors know, pyrite, or iron disulfide, comes in may forms, one of the most unusual of which is nodular.
Pyrite’s metallic luster and pale brassy-yellow have often been mistaken for gold by miners, hence its fond nickname, “fool’s gold.” It is the most abundant sulfide mineral and crystallizes in the cubic system as well-developed, opaque, brassy-yellow crystals and is among the most widely collected of all minerals.

Metaphysical practitioners believe that pyrite supplements physical energy with the energy of the sun, increases stamina, stimulates the intellect, and protects against negativity and risk.
